Feedback Session

Today I received some really good feedback regards my project.
I have now entitled it 'Absence of performance within music'.

My project was far too generically based around already existing work.
So with some discussion, the decision to photograph the leftovers of a gig/performance was made.

Close ups of tickets on the ground, scratched equipment, even the technical sides that nobody sees such as the mixing desk.  Then, in terms of the book layout, text will be added in, either quotes from bands or lyrics which still needs to be decided upon.

From the video linked  on the previous post, the abstract lead up to set up being revealed in sequence with a few quotes added in reflects this idea in a different way to what I first viewed it as..I still feel the eerie feel to my work will still be present but now the project has been defined down to a specific feature.

I am working with more relevance to the title whilst it still stays with the showing of beyond the performance.

I shall however, not scrap the idea of photographing beyond the performance in terms of the tuning up, pedals and all the relative images I started with. I will also not scrap the idea of photographing buskers. These shall be continued personally.
